“Where do I want to live? Anywhere, really. I mean, living in a warm area would be great, I wouldn’t mind that. But yeah, anywhere is good with me.” Chris smiled, he really did mean what he said. He didn’t care where he lived, as long as it was a good area and he had a nice house, he was happy. Living somewhere warm would be nice though. He was already used to the hot weather. Swaying to the music, he nodded, “Yeah…I know. I think..with my dad, he sees how much I love you, Jules. I think he just wants to help out and if he thinks..that I believe you’re the one, he wants to support us. He wants us to be happy and financially set, so that…” Chris paused, “So that we don’t become like him and my mom, you know?” Smiling as she brought up his grandmother, “Oh…she knows, trust me. She knows and she is really happy. You know, she really likes you, Jules. And that means something. She never really liked my ex girlfriends. She always calling me and asking when we are going to see her next.” Chris had a big goofy smile on his face. He always got like this when he spoke about his grandmother. He held onto Jules hand and nodded, “Well..yeah, I think so. She’s pretty healthy right now and I think she will be for a while. I want her there too.” Hearing the next comment, Chris sighed, “Oh right..We  have to meet..her.”

Jules nodded in agreement. “We should live in Florida or Georgia or something. I like those places. It’s warm and not too full of southerns.” Giggling the blonde moved her arm from his neck and tapped his nose. Moving it back, she felt her face flush. “Your grandmother is too cute. Next time she calls or you plan on calling her, make sure I’m in the room. I want to talk to her.” The blonde let a small sigh pass her lips, “Good, I want her there in the front row.” Running her fingers through Chris’ hair, the girl nodded, “We do, we do have to meet her. When do you want to do that hm? It up to you, you know. I’m not going to force you, but we should probably do it sooner than later. Your dad might get the impression you hate the idea of it…” her voice trailed off, “Which I know you do, but if he is going to do all of this for us, we have to pretend. We have to swallow our pride and meet this lady friend.” Jules stepped back and linked her hand with his, “Shall we go get some of Kaylee’s signature spiked punch?”

chris-grove:

You always think that I look cute. Okay..you did, but I didn’t think it was going to be that bad. No, no you are not. All I heard was giggling and then you tried to stop, but you couldn’t. Documenting everything? Joy to the world.

It smelt awful! Are you kidding!? Once I start giggling you know I can’t stop. Yup. Everything. Get ready.

“Well you picked the perfect night and the perfect event. After all, what can really top the Legacy Ball? I mean, look at the place,” he said, gesturing around. Though if he was being at all honest with himself, he could name a few things that he had been to that had topped it. Still, for a school dance, it was done very well. “Seems like there’s a lot of people who aren’t legacy’s here though,” he said in a disapproving tone, glancing about at the crowd. “But thank you,” he said, smiling at her for the compliment. He sat up straight and smiled politely at her, chuckling a bit at her comment. “It’s alright. People seem to know a lot about me for less reasons than that,” he teased. “But head of Pemberly. That’s pretty impressive. I bet you had to do a lot to get that position,” he murmured.

“Oh, my night’s been going quite nicely,” he said nonchalantly. “It’s actually getting a bit better,” he smirked, his head staying in her direction while her eyes wondered through the crowd. He chuckled softly at her words, smiling. “Oh, I’ve danced with a few of them. But right now, there’s only one person who I’d like to dance with. So how about it? Would you like to dance?”

Jules rubbed the back of her neck slightly as he mentioned the non- legacy students. “Well it is a mandatory event. However you can tell who is from wealth and who is not from the outfits that they chose.” Nodding, even though Jules was not a legacy, she came from large sums of money, one of the largest on the West coast. Her whole life she was bounced around from different private schools, all of the upper class status. Smilingly sweetly the blonde shrugged, “I get straight A’s and I wrote a killer essay. Also, it doesn’t hurt that I turned down my slot in Billings to be in Pemberly. I’m probably the most well known girl there, not to brag or anything. I just… I didn’t want to be with all the upper class snobby girls. They can be really caddy and I wanted to live somewhere more mellow.”

Jules nodded as he spoke, figuring all of the Easton girls who were not taken were going to be all over him. When he said, there was only one person who he would like to dance with, Jules shifted her attention towards him. Before she could ask who, he asked her to dance. Pausing, Jules furrowed her brow. Was it okay for her to dance with someone when she was promised? Looking down at her ring and then back up, she knew it was just a dance. “Sure why not?” The blonde cooed as she slipped her heels back on. She stood up and waited for Joseph to escort her to the dance floor.

chris-grove:

Yeah, I saw that one. And why the hell did I decide to eat that. It tasted like complete shit. Being quiet? Jules, you’re anything but quiet! I’ll have to get used to a camera flash when we live together..

You looked real cute… I told you not to! You’re right… I’m really not quiet at all… OH WELL! And yes. I will be documenting everything.

Chris laughed as Jules kissed his face and became all giggly. “Yes, Jules. My dad is going to help us get a house house. Not some stupid ass little shack. I can’t have that, no way. We’re getting a nice two story house. Hopefully with a pool in the back. But that really depends on where you want to live.” As she continued with her next statement, Chris nodded, “My dad will be honoured to walk you down, Jules. He’ll be really happy about this. He actually insisted to buy the house fully, but..I couldn’t make him do that. I’m going to buy it with him.” He laughed at her perfect comment, “So I’ve heard.” Feeling his hand being grabbed, he was suddenly on his feet and back over at the dance floor. He wrapped his arms around her and agreed, “Sounds awesome to me, love. Cancun will be amazing..again.” Pausing for a moment, he thought of another question, “Which brings me back to my past comment. Where do you want to live?”

Jules snaked her arms around Chris’ neck and furrowed her brow, “That is a tough question. I don’t want to be the only one to decide this. I want both us to be happy. All I know is I don’t want to go back to the West coast, I want to stay here. Well, not here here, but like you know what I mean. Florida all the way up to Maine. Living near beach would be nice, but just a plus.” She titled her head to the side, “What about you? Where would you like to live hm?” As she swayed the music, the girl couldn’t help but think about Alexander, “Your dad is really being really sweet about this whole thing. I’m like really surprised he is okay with you marrying me… Wait. Have you told your grandmother? She was so sweet to me over the summer and I know you have that bond with her.” Jules stepped back and held Chris’ hand. “I hate asking this, but… She has a while to live right? I want her there too.” Jules nodded. “And we still have to meet your dads new girl friend.”

chris-grove:

…Dear god, Jules. I knew I heard giggling…

Did you see the one of you at the Arc where you were eating that french food you didn’t like. I personally love that one. I thought I was being quiet!
chris-grove:

I need to take that thing away from you. I swear that I saw about five pictures of me while I was asleep when we were in Paris. I guess that’s what I get for sleeping in, right?

You look cute when you sleep!! I also took one when you were in the shower, but I deleted it.

When Jules has a camera, she has to capture everything.

Yup. Sounds about right.

josephrockefeller:

Joseph seemed to be on his feet the entire night. It was something he was used to, but he still couldn’t help wanting to sit down, even if it was only for a few moments. He escaped his group of friends and headed for one of the empty tables, pulling up a seat and observing everything that was going around him. There were a lot more people here than he expected. Clearly not all of them were Legacy’s either. If they all were, he was sure that they would dress better than what he saw some of them had on. He reminded himself not to judge so quickly and simply enjoyed the sound of the music. In all though, it was a really good ball. He was glad he attended.

His thoughts were interpreted by some girl he vaguely remembered. She was pretty though and she seemed impressed by who he was. Not that he blamed her. Most people were. Still, he put on a charming smile and extended out his hand. “Yes, the very same,” he confirmed. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Jules, and of course you can have a seat,” he said, standing up and holding out her chair for her. “Might I say, you look rather beautiful today. That dress suits you well.”

Taking his hand and lightly shaking it, she smiled. “Pleasure is all mine.” Her green eyes widened as he pulled out a chair for her, “Oh goodness, thank you.” Jules smoothed out her dress and sat down next to Joseph. Looking down at the white fabric that hugged her body, Jules blushed, “Well thank you. I really do love this dress. I’ve been waiting for the right night to wear it.” Pushing a blonde strand of hair back, Jules looked over the boy, “You look rather dashing yourself.” Her smile lit up her face. She tried to be as friendly as she could be to everyone. “Joseph Rockefeller, ninth year legacy if I’m not mistaken.” The blonde stated nodding her head. Pausing she covered her mouth as a giggle passed her lips, “That sounded so stalkerish.” Her blonde locks bobbed as she shook her head, “I’m head of Pemberly, so I need to know everything about everything.”

Blushing a bit from embarrassment, Jules placed her drink on the table and let out a small sigh, “How have you been enjoying your night?” Scanning the crowd, Jules watched as the party was still going at full force, “Dance with any lucky ladies. I bet they are all dying to dance with you. I mean your name comes with so much respect here and all over the world.” Jules lifted her glass to her lips, as she waited for a response.

Chris pulled back from the kiss and heard Jules talk again. “Well..I already told my dad about our time in Paris, so he knows the whole ring bit and he is supporting us. He likes you, Jules. Anyways, he said that he would help us get our life together started. Like..he would help pay for the house if we really need it. And I know that we will need it.” Chris smiled, “So don’t worry. I’m paying for it. I don’t care how big those dreams are, you’re getting what you want, babe. You just pick everything out. The cake, decorations, music, blah blah blah. And me, well I’ll just worry about the pay check.”

Jules’ eyes widened as she let out a loud squeal. Peppering his face with kisses, the blonde was too excited for her own good. Pulling back, she spoke rather quickly, “Wait! So we are going to live in a house house? Like not some shack, you’re dad is really going to help with that?!” Shaking her head in disbelief, Jules looked at Chris and stated, “He’s walking me down the aisle. It’s decided. Your dad doesn’t have a daughter to give away. He can give me away to his son.” Nodding her head once in approval, she hopped off Chris’ lap. “You are so perfect you know that right.” Grabbing his hand, she pulled him back onto the dance floor and held him close, “OH! and I want to go to Cancun for our honeymoon. Seeing as we met there and all.”
